JAKARTA, Makansedap.id – Pelatih tim nasional sepak bola U-22 Indonesia, Indra Sjafri menolak dibenturkan dengan pelatih asing di tengah proses membangun prestasi sepak bola nasional.
“Saya berharap sepak bola Indonesia memiliki karakter dan jati diri tersendiri. Kita memang harus belajar menuju ke arah sana. Tapi, tolong jangan benturkan saya dengan pelatih asing,” tutur Indra Sjafri di sela acara Silaturahmi Nasional Stakeholder Olahraga Indonesia Menuju Pentas Dunia yang digelar Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Pusat di Hall Gedung Dewan Pers, Kebon Sirih, Jakarta, Sabtu, 17 Juni 2023.
Dalam upaya membangun karakter sepak bola Indonesia, Indra Sjafri meminta para pelaku sepak bola tanah air untuk menanam integritas dalam diri masing-masing. Integritas adalah kunci membangun karakter sepak bola Indonesia.
Dalam kesempatan itu, hadir pula Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo. Dia mengatakan stakeholder olahraga juga harus bersatu agar prestasi Indonesia dapat meroket menuju kelas dunia.
“Kita harus terus menggelorakan prestasi emas ketika sepak bola Indonesia merebut medali emas di SEA Games Kamboja 2023. Ini harus dijadikan momen untuk kebangkitan prestasi olahraga Indonesia. Saya berharap seluruh stakeholder olahraga, NOC (KOI), KONI Pusat, Pengurus Besar/Pengurus Besar (Cabor) dan masyarakat olahraga untuk bersatu agar tercipta prestasi emas Indonesia,” ungkap Dito Ariotedjo saat menjadi pembicara dalam acara Silaturahmi Nasional Stakeholder Olahraga Indonesia Menuju Pentas Dunia. Silaturahmi nasional tersebut juga menghadirkan Sekretaris Jenderal KONI Pusat TB Ade Lukman, Komite Eksekutif NOC Indonesia Ismail Ning dan Exco PSSI Arya Sinulingga.
Acara ini dipandu oleh wartawan olahraga senior, Mahfudin Nigara serta dihadiri Ketua PWI Provinsi plus Siwo se-Indonesia.
Ketua Umum PWI Pusat, Atal S Depari mengatakan acara silaturahmi ini diselenggarakan sebagai apresiasi atas pencapaian emas Indonesia dalam SEA Games XXXII Kamboja 2023.
“Timnas sepak bola Indonesia mengukir prestasi luar biasa dengan merebut medali emas SEA Games XXXII Kamboja 2023. Hasil ini harus menjadi semangat baru stakeholder olahraga Indonesia untuk terus menghadirkan prestasi emas membanggakan dan mengharumkan Indonesia,” tutur Atal S Depari.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Ketua Siwo PWI Pusat, Gungde Ariwangsa juga memberikan apresiasi tinggi atas semangat Menpora yang memiliki visi mengajak masyarakat olahraga Indonesia bersatu demi menghadirkan prestasi untuk membanggakan Indonesia. (M1)
